I am so lucky to have such an incredible location such as The Mount Without to call my local venue. The Mount Without is well on its way to becoming one of the most sought after wedding venues in the U.K. as there really isn’t much else like it.
As a Bristol wedding photographer, I’ve been lucky to be booked by couples from all over the U.K. as well as native Bristolians for this magnificent venue!
The Mount Without is the perfect location for those alternative couples who are looking for a venue that doesn’t fit the stereotypical norm. With its scarred, decaying walls, but huge windows; it gives the perfect mix of grit and moodiness whilst still being bright.
In the evening, you are treated to a truly spectacular dinner reception. The candles come out en masse, and as the sun goes down, the glow from the candles is enough to illuminate the hall. It’s truly something to behold, and will have all your guests talking about your wedding for years to come.

The Crypt is the perfect place to continue your wedding party well into the night. With its low concave ceilings and fully stocked bar with local favourites, all you need is to set up the band or DJ booth down the other end, and you can party the night away as loud as you like!

Look, we all know how amazing The Mount Without is by now. But if you want to add another little flair into your wedding pictures, then you need to head down to The Christmas Steps. Being a Bristol wedding photographer, I have spent a lot of time going up and down these famous local steps. From the top, you get an awesome panoramic view of the Bristol skyline. And as you head down the steps with its wonky buildings and crisscross festoon lighting, you get the perfect backdrop for some portraits of the two of you, or a great opportunity for some candid shots of you and your mates.
